Estancia Santa Ana

In Córdoba there are no seasons or limits on doves. With so many hunting areas available to our guests, one can be sure of hot barrel dove hunting any time of year.

Travel

Only a valid passport is required. Several airline companies have excellent service to and from Argentina so you do have plenty of options. You can choose to fly directly to Córdoba or stop in Buenos Aires for a little site seeing.

If you choose to stay over in Buenos Aires, we can arrange to have someone meet you at the Ezeiza International Airport and help you with customs, checking in your fire arms, and take you to your hotel.

For your continued flight to Córdoba, we can have you picked up at your hotel and escort you to the domestic airport known as Jorge Newbery Airport. There is a reasonable charge for these services.

Guns

If you choose to bring your own guns, we recommend not bringing your 12 gauge shotgun as problems can occur when taking so many rounds of shots. We recommend that you bring your most reliable shotgun. Ammo is available in 12, 20, and 28 gauges. If we know in advance, we can arrange to supply you with 410 gauge shells at 2.5 inches. We suggest you take a Past Shooter's pad to protect your shoulder as well as ear plugs.

Rent

Estancia Santa Ana has a good selection of 20 gauge auto loaders and over-and-unders as well as a 28 gauge over-and-under for rent.…

Fire Arms Registration

If you are bringing in firearms you should register them with the Argentine customs. A form must be completed and then presented to customs as you arrive. Make sure you have a copy. You can then carry the firearms anywhere in the country. If you send us your gun information in advance, our representative will have them completed upon arrival.

We highly recommend that you register your firearms with US customs and keep the 4457 form with you. This can help you with check-in, security, and departure. Contact us for any help you may need with your firearm registrations.

Telephone Calls

We found that your old cell phones and AT&T international dialing capabilities work great from Estancia Santa Ana and on many occasions, even the field. If you do bring your cell phones or wireless pda's with you, don't forget that the voltage in Argentina is 220. To be safe, bring a converter and an assortment of plugs.

Groups

Because there are 11 bedrooms, all with a queen size bed and a second bed with a private bathroom, we consider groups of (8 to 11) ideal. We can accommodate larger or smaller groups if needed.

Personal Items

We strongly recommend leaving all personal jewelry at home. Bring a simple watch for personal use. We also suggest packing light and avoid brining high-end luggage that may get damaged.
